Prof Adama Faye
Prof Adama Faye is a physician and professor of Public Health at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal where he coordinates the RTC supported by TDR/WHO.
He is the Head of the Public Health and Research Support Department at the Hospital and University Center of Fann Hospital, Dakar, and was also the former Director of the Institute for Health and Development (ISED).
He is the President of the Senegalese Association of Public Health Professionals. He also chairs the French-speaking Medical Society of Black Africa. Prof Faye has published widely, including peer-reviewed articles, books, book chapters, and a journal special issue.
He has held research funds from TDR/WHO, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, GAVI, Global Fund, Global Affairs Canada, NIH, IDRC, Horizon Europe, Wellcome Trust among others.
