Recognition & Equation of Qualifications

International applicants are encouraged to begin the process of having their academic qualifications recognized and equated to the Ugandan education system as early as possible, as this is a mandatory requirement for admission.

Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) applicants

Using secondary school qualifications obtained outside Uganda? Apply for recognition and equation through the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB).

International Student Support

The International Relations Office (IRO) is dedicated to supporting international students throughout their journey at MUST — from application to graduation, and on into the convocation and alumni fraternity. The Office provides guidance on programme selection, admissions procedures, recognition and equation of academic qualifications, pre-arrival planning, student visas and immigration requirements, accommodation, orientation, and integration into university life.
