Judy N. Khanyola is a Registered Community Health Nurse/Midwife, Family Nurse Practitioner and pan African nursing leader. She is the current Vice President of AFREhealth. She previously served as the inaugural Chair of the Center for Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda. Judy has extensive experience in nursing and midwifery on the African continent and 
has spearheaded nursing and midwifery education reforms concentrating on pre service and clinical education. Judy is an HIV/AIDS clinical nurse, focusing on the intersectionalities of noncommunicable diseases and social determinants of health for rural populations in Africa. Judy is a passionate advocate for patient dignity through compassionate and competent nursing and midwifery care. Judy is an inaugural Fellow of the African Union/Africa CDC/Harvard Global Nursing Leadership Program, the Vice President of AfriPEN and member of ECSACON(M). Judy was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and is the recipient of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care(ANAC) Global HIV Award.
